Nice job, Norris. When shooting a mother and child you get the opportunity to see such real love in the pictures, and that elevates them to a whole new level. For this kind of photo, I would've moved the softbox slightly more towards the center to eliminate some of the shadow the little one's head is casting on Mom, and just before you snap the picture, make some sort of sound with a squeak toy to get the little one's attention. Imagine how great that eye contact would be with this picture! Great work.

I think if you just tighten crop on left and bottom, you'd be set to go. I love the relationship between the two. You can see the smile in mom's eyes and the kid is adorable. Wonderful work on capturing the expression and the background just fits right in perfectly. Nice work.

This has potential. Background is nice, and moment between Mom and baby is nice. I think a little softening would add to this. A tighter crop on the bottom, or more headroom may help the composition a little. A nice, emotive photo none the less.
