This is an extraordinarily brilliant photo - I could not think of anything that needs to be improved. The silhouette against the wall is perfect, and the stray hair - which in a 'normal' portrait would be a disadvantage - is actually a major enhancement here. Well done!

I too love this shot - so much so that I saved it on my screen for the first oppertunity to comment. A tad more room on the left might be nice, but as is is fine. Also the rim light on or girl, chin and sholder, could be cloned out or toned down. So minor that I won't take the third thumb away. It is jst so simple and yet so effective. Kudos!

This is beautiful. I would have preferred a little less DOF so that the wall is not in such sharp focus, but probably the Sony doesn't allow that. You succeeded perfectly at capturing the softness and warmth, it's a lovely photo. 2.5TU.

Indeed Ben, this Sony doesn't allow almost anything. :))) Thanks for the time.

Looking at your work, I would say you've outgrown the camera. Time to treat yourself to a DSLR. :-)

An alluring photo. Very interesting composition, especially the diagonal framing and the not-quite-silhouette of the woman. My only observation is that the woman herself comes across as a bit "muddy" due to the dark exposure, which, in this case, is no big deal and it is hard to correct. I don't know that you could fix it without ruining the shot, but maybe for a next shot the contrast should not be that high? Lovely picture in any case.

I would say this needs to be a little sharper. There also appears to be noise around the edge of the profile. The compostion nd lighting though are brilliant! - Mark

absolutely lovely. Top half is such a perfect silouette, I thought it was a photo of a shadow. A little light on the shoulder reveals the true nature of the image. Background is perfect. I think I would leave just a bit of space on the left so whisp of hair doesnt crowd the border, but the rest is so wonderful I had to go 3 TU

You may want to check your monitor calibration, Andrew - on my screen you can see some detail, eg. eyebrow, cheek, ear. I think you'll like it even more when you see that.
