Very interesting shot, I like this composition, I especially like the texture of the water running off the window. And good exposure. Very well done. Thanks for sharing.

You have used a very effective technique -- shooting through a car window on a rainy day -- to capture an image reminiscent of impressionistic paintings. And you have done so in a way that the glass of the car window is not obviously present. Very well done.
However, much of the strength of an impressionistic image comes from the interplay of shape and color, and here I think this image is somewhat weak. The window and the downspout nicely frame the main "subject" of the picture. That the umbrella is leaning forward gives the subject some dynamic energy, but your placement almost exactly centered robs it of some of its dynamic possibility. The dynamic possibilities are further weakened in my eye by the presence of the blue letters on the wall behind the figure. Those letters, in bold blue contrast to the white wall, constantly pull my attention backwards instead of forwards with the subject.
When my eye does go forward, it finds quite pleasing the interplay of the purple (mauve?) umbrella and the green tree leaves. I do find the small triangle created in the top left corner to be a distracting element that weakens the strength of this interplay.

Friend, thanks for your intense commentary to my photo. It is necessary to consider, that this photo is limited the window of the car, that there is to take advantage of to the maximum. Perhaps it must be seen in a plane but general, putting all the details in a same plane, I believe that asi occurs one more a more real vision of the atmosphere of the rainy day, with quite dull colors, to be the very cloudy sky. Greetings

I like the effect and the rainy atmosphere the photo gives, but the scene behind the glass is too blurred for me. Much more as a shower rather than a look out of the window.

I do not believe that it seems a shower, is the window of the car. Thanks

Not quite as good as the first, but very good all the same. I especially like the texture of the water running off the window. Very imaginative, good exposure. I only like the other one more because colours and composition are somewhat stronger.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes Stomp, first is always good, because its new. This one is not new but still fine rainy day shot if not as much abstract. The triangle top left disturbs could easily cloned off, centered composition. Regards, Güven.
