Again, I know the one thing in colour thing has been done, but I thought it worked in this picture, and at least it's suttle. Anyway, any comment/critiques welcome.

I can't agree with the first critique here:
Objectively, the white are blown and the black is completely black - I feel that as an important element of the composition, something emphasizing the apprensive attitude, something violent and harsh, indeed, suggesting a threat or a fear
By te way, this harsh contrast as background of a slightly blurred model, with a discreet touch of color, is a graphic delight.

I agree with Mike about the exposure and the lack of detail in both the blacks and the whites. I also think you have done a good job with the toning. My TU is because your model's expression and pose do to me express apprehension & fear which is what you have set out to communicate.

thanks for the view - gymeagary

I like the tension that you have created here - which the stark contrast and color/b&w help generate. It looks like the moment when she realizes that all the covers ARE going to be removed. Or something. Einar

Hi Daniel. Don't take offense to the rating. Please see my explanation in my bio.

The b/g is too overexposed and creates too much of a stark difference with the blacks and whites. The blacks are too dark and the whites are too blown. Nice job, though, on the selective color.
