Wonderful, moody photo. The lighting is perfect, and makes me feel like I can just step into the scene--not flat at all. Though after strategically holding folders over different parts of the image, I have the following crop suggestions: 1) crop the left edge of the frame right up to where the rope attaches to the shoreline. 2) Crop the people out of the background. I see this can be tricky. . .if you crop too much, you are risking losing a lot of that wonderful, tone-setting fog. Perhaps the people and 2nd boat can be cloned out. In fact, covering up only the upper left quadrant, eliminating the background boats and people made this photo feel much better (know what I mean?). Regardless, this is a great picture and I thank you for sharing.

I like the exposure but the position of the boat seems a little awkward, perhaps towards the bottom of the frame more, just not directly in the middle.

I agree that the idea is nice, but the boat is too central, and the larger tug being cut off at the top isn't appealing. Like the b/w - maybe a little grainier nextime.
