1/25sec, F4.5, Focal length 66mm, ISO 1600, White Balance Auto -1. Taken indoors with with incandesant lighting. Cropped from a group of 3 flowers. May have had the lens on Macro, I don't recall. Sorry. All comments and critiques welcomed.

Ah incandecent so the weird light on this. Not too appealing but u can adjust temp in ps and get it less brownish in colour balance. Crop bit tight making flower look fat...cheers, wog.

Paul, I am a sucker for sunflowers. Here's what I'd do to improve this shot... I'd try to get more DOF across the frame. This drops off quickly at the middle. Also, perhaps moving the light more to the side would allow more texture to show off the petals more. Lastly, have you tried using an offset compositiion so the blossom isn't quite so a "bullseye" shot? So, there you have it from me. Keep shooting, and remember, it's just my opinion. I'm getting critiques on mine also! Rog

thanks Rogeer, but this one bud is part of three, but the DOF is so poor on the entire image I tired to pull this out as one. Here is some more of my work: http://www.pbase.com/aecompaul/image/49376735
