HI Jay! I like the composition as well as the light effect you were going for here, but I agree with Hendrik that the heavy pink lighting really leads your vision off its mark... also, your model has very expressive eyes and having her look directly towards the camera would add a very strong dynamic element to your composition. Despite the lighting being wayy too pink and casting too harsh a tone to the image as well as the odd shadow on the wall, the range of skin tones you got here is actually good .. if the lighting was better, you would have a really nice "60s retro" portrait of this young lady! I'm not sure how you would fix the lighting to still have that "pink" cast you are going for, but not the odd coloring it created here. Maybe more subtle and behind her instead of in front? The only other thing I would like to see is to not have her hand cut off or her right shoulder kinda just "hanging out" there as it is in this crop. I think you have a nice idea with the flower she is holding, but I think you could work a more effective pose with the flower (what is that she's holding in her hand by the way?)... and I'm not sure the braid at the top of her head is working with the 60s image... maybe a crown of flowers instead to balance out the title of "flower" child? regards!

Hi Jay, wonderful photo with 60s all over it. I like it, but it's a little bit too pink. As well the highlights in the hair (wick) and the large shadow on the wall (left side) are distracting. Thanks, Hendrik.
