Mt Moosilauke Peak, NH Ocober 04 there was no snow on the ground a few feet below... we had hit the evidence of snow along the trail in the leaves of the trees but were very surprised to get to top and be in the tundrea.... this was supposed to be an atumnual hike

I like the desolation. It reminds me of pictures from Russia, but so does most of Northern New England. There are so few colours left, that you could have converted it to black and white to stress the monotony.

whats missing from the picture is the central point of interest, becouse if you look at it you'll get lost wondering around not especially sure what should you be looking at. think that you should get lover to the ground to show off some details that seems to be quite interesting, with a silhuete of the hikers in the back it could be a great picture regards
