The beauty of simplicity at it's best!! Sometimes a small detail makes all the difference - in this image the slightly tilted "horizon" brings charm and life to this other vice static and gloom image. Splendid!!

Like Douglas, I am drawn to simple images. This is beautifully done with its only flaw being the centered tree. Dependant of what else was on the hillside, I would have liked to see the tree placed on the right of the image. Good grey tonal range, semi-moody sky, and the white frame works well. TED

Dear Adolfo,

How I adore very simple images which make so much impact with the bare necessities especially when rendered in B&W and/or almost monocrome. The title is understood in that the lone tree with reincarnate itself by the coming of spring but which now has to hibernate for awhile over winter. I also like the diag of the ground adding a little extra touch to the overall composition.

Thanks for sharing and Best of Regards!

Hi Adolfo. I like the feeling of this picture. Good composition even if the tree is right on the center of the frame. This is adding to the mystery of the scene. Good sky texture too. Very good work. Regards
