This is an awesome shot, great composition and it tells a story about these two birds and the title gives it a bit of humor to boot. The reflection wraps it up into a nice eye appealing photograph - job well done!
PS I am jealous!

I like this pic, the goose just like alive, and the composition is well.

this was captured perfectly, you can see every detail in the wings. The light and tones are great as well as the reflection, and its comical!!! To me the duck looks like he's running for his life!!!

Hi David.
This is a fine capture you made of this egret, one can understand why the mallards got spooked here, I would have too if someone that big came and sad BOO to me ;o) The light here seems a bit tricky coming in from the side of you, I do think you did a fine job and kept details in the shadows and highlights. Keep clicking ;o) Best regards, Thomas.

Great shot and humorous ! Those pesky ducks! I like the scene here, great spread on the egret and the duck looks ok to me being dark , maybe more silhouetted , or lightened as suggested. Still a 3 for me! regards robert

The wing formation makes this shot for me,a real nice reflection.I felt a small crop off the top would give more impact also it would be nice to see a bit more detail in our duck, who looks as if he has gone away swearing.Such a good shot Ron

Hi Ronald. The ducks do get upset at this...the larger birds chase them around a bit. Thnaks for looking and for the suggestions. Regards, David.

David, nice shot! Great timing. Exposure of the egret looks good showing good details. Maybe lighten the duck in PS to show better details. 2.5 TU rounded up! Keep shooting and sharing, Gary

Hi Gary. Thanks very much. It was tough to get the duck in without blowing the whites. I tried lightening it bu it brought in quite a bit of noise. Thanks again. Regards, David.

A terrific capture ... nice crisp focus on the egret and great light - caught the transparancy of the wings just right. Awesome!

This image is funny, it feels like it's in motion. Great reflection in the water.... you captured the wings well! Very dominating. Great work!
