This shot was taken for a project in support of a church camp in Hartford City, IN.

Among the amenities at the camp are some very nice accommodations and a beautiful spring-fed lake (with some very good fishing). There are numerous areas where visitors can spend time in peaceful contemplation.

Shot through a Harrison & Harrison 88A IR filter.

Very nice image. Composition is nice and IR's surrealist appearance well presented. Reflections and that willow on the left not so sharp, that seems to be due to long exposure. Well can not go for everything all the time. Thanks sharing.

Sassan.

stunning shot! hard to believe this beauty is real... white colors make it absolutely surreal which is great!

I think this is a simply stunning shot. Gorgeous reflections and light. The only thing I dont like about this image is the text on the bottom as I think this takes away from the beauty somewhat. Very nice though. Cheers Helen x

I debated removing the text from the picture before submitting it. This shot is one of a series that is intended to be offered to donors as part of an endowment campaign to sustain the campground. Consequently, I have the text there for the benefit of the donors that will ultimately receive the series of limited edition prints.

Good attempt at color IR, a difficult subject. I think it would have been more interesting if there had a been a fisherman on a boat or someone sitting on the bench though. Also, your horizon is a degree or so off kilter.
