Drama, magic, emotion and mood. This is a magical capture. There are many stories to read from a single image and here the cross is without a doubt the focal point... just as it has been for centuries. I love how the cross is echoed in the electricity post. The haloed circle makes me wonder wether I am looking at teh sun, the moon or just light. It works. Well captured and beautifully presented. The fine black line holds the composition beautifully.

Spooky mood. In first i was sure that was infrared picture. I like the fog around the cross but too much noise for my taste.

Nice idea. The juxtaposition of the grave marker and the utility pole is great. It's a very moody piece. The bright haze in the foreground is a bit distracting. It could have been darkened somewhat for better effect.

Sebi, this shot nearly does it for me. There certainly is a lot of mood and mystery here. The cross marker and utility pole mimic each other and strongly provokes connections. Perhaps it's me being dense but I don't understand the inclusion of the circular hazy flare at the pole. It does draw the eye to it but the image confuses more than resolves. Still, I find the image compelling and I do have to think as I view it. Good luck and shoot lots. Dave

Hi Sebi, you have produced with this photo a very special mood. Nice composition and original message, underlined by the kind of halo around the newer cross. Perhaps overall it is a little bit too bright. Karl
