Since you asked my opinion I'll write this, but there's nothing I can say that really adds to all the former critiques. Beautiful shot, great DOF! I happen to have a seagull picture as well, but that one misses the colour of the stones. Maybe I'll post it later.

great scene, and fine contrasting colors. I also like the very small DOF. well done!

A near perfect picture. I use often in PS2 shadow/highlights to give more details in white. We have also a good composition.

Great detail, natural colour and a pretty faultless exposure. Perhaps just a slight crop at the bottom to remove the out of focus rock.

Perfect picture of a windswept seagull. Great composition.....wonderful (cold) color balance....excellent sharpness....appropriately shallow depth of field. The rough texture of the rocks balances the sleekness/softness of the birds very well. The 'squint' of the bird...the upturned feather on back really gives us a sense and a feel of the scene! Very well done!

This is a really nice shot. Great detail on the birds, and I do like their "hunkered down" expressions. Excellent depth of field rendering that choppy sea indistinct. That steely blue colour acts as a wonderful backfrop aswell. Really nice work.

Thanks for posting. Feel free to check out my pics.

Hi Gianpaolo - I'm not used to seeing your name underneath a photo without cleavage! Nice shot of a different type of"bird." I wish you'd used a slightly greater dof to bring the second gull into sharp focus too. But still a definite 2TU. Best, Nick

I like the sharpness and DOF. I have no suggestions what could be better. Maybe the white spot on bottm is little disturbing. But this is still beatiful nature. Regards.
