Thumb-up Thumb-up    from jeni/Jeni (657) Send mail to this user on July 7, 2005 4:48:06 AM CDT (2) Early critique

Hi

I also thought it was b/w until I spotted the red on the floor. I love the composition of this photo, very abstract, and very peaceful. I think I long for peace and quiet! I also saw the green on the handrails, I like those reflections, they add a sort of depth to the picture without being a distraction. I'm not sure about the red stain though. My temptation would be to put this through PS and increase the contrast, but I think that would be wrong - I like the light balance you've achieved here.

Really nice, good work.

Regards

Jeni

at first i thought it was black and white but saw the red stain and the blue shoe, think it would be really dramatic if u converted it to b&w and isolated one of these colours. The compositions good and you got the shutter speed just right.nice
