Used the camera's Night Shot mode with the filters mentioned to create this effect. The picture came out with a green cast which I got rid of using Pictographics iCorrect Editlab. Also could have used levels or just desaturated the picture and then played with the contrast.

If you're just experimenting then you're well on your way. Work on your composition to make the most of the interesting infrared environment. You wouldn't believe what simple things look the best in IR. I've been experimenting with the IR shots I've taken by coloring them a bit during post process. Good luck! J

Joseph, Thanks for your comments and an interesting idea. Never really tought of coloring. I will definately have to give that a try. Maybe Sepia toning would be cool. Also, thanks for the 2 TUs. Regards, Dennis.

Dennis ... I've a few IR shots here and I've more on PBase to show what I'm talking about. http://www.pbase.com/lasombradelosdiablos Hell I'm just happy to see another Sony user doing IR. It's such a wonderful and different environment to dabble in.
