She felt as if someone was pulling her, as if someone was pushing her, as if lifted off the ground, as if spinning round in huge circles, as if... she was hungry.

In general, this is a fine photo. It is visually interesting--not arresting but interesting. You deserve high marks for attempting to introduce and abstract photo into this environment. Congratulations. I love the poetic verbal imagery that goes with it.
