Here's one of the photos I submitted for my final project in my VCT 382 class. Basically, it's going to show the feeling you get when you've given something your all, but it just doesn't work in the end.

The overall tone of the photo works for me, definitely. The emotion comes through clearly. I like the muted saturation and the pose of the model. The grain detracts from the shot here. Roughness doesn't seem to fit with the smooth, dark mood of giving up. Just my experience. Also, the harsh shadows behind Andrew's head almost look like a ponytail. I was confused at first. And the highlight reflection on the doorframe is so bright it pulls my attention from the more appropriate subject. Just little technical things.

realy nice one! you get the feeling, and that is sometimes so dificult. I also like the way you use the light, makes it all dramatic i have just one question what asa you used? is something noisie
