Nice idea poorly executed. Dial back on the over exposed areas in the background, do it softer and more gradual. The baby is perfect but the mother's expression is a bit uptight, especially around the mouth. Good work.

Gee...I like this a lot. Contrast between the white an the grey maybe a little bit to strong....but very clear, sharp as a knife but what I most like the expression from both. The mother is realy in a protective pose and her eyes could kill you if you even come close to the child, the child is feeling very comfortable the way she/ he looks. I like to see another one but then with a big smile of the mother. Great job, very well captured. Best regards, Harry

I like this. The highlites are too blown out for my taste though. Especially on the mother's head. I can't find any detail at all on my monitor. It looks like a hole. On the other hand, I like the details and the tone of both faces. I'm sure the mom loved it.

I understand that the high contrast is intentional, but in my opinion it looks rather overexposed and does not look like a high key. Part on the baby's body and face look overexposed. It could be a nicer portrait if you'd kept original tones. Opinions may differ, but it's my view. Best wishes.
