This is a great shot from the composition to focus, color. This picture also says something at least to me, it says why the lady has to sleep on the street someone should care for her.

What a beautiful shot of that lady. What a lovely composition and what beautiful colours. It is so excellent that you can touch those steps. May I ask you what was the camera's setting?

I work in an transitional house where we help people get off the street. The textures and colours of the the stone work and the subject adds so much. I can see in her many of the people that I have helped over the years. Maybe that is why I could never take street photos my self. Too much emotional attachment to the subject. The slight angle of the wall doesn't bother me, let's face it life out there is never perfect.

You have captured this poor soul in a dramatic and technically flawless fashion.

I agree with the previous comment. I give you 3 thumbs because I'd like to do such photos myself, yet I lack the boldness to photograph people in their everyday struggles on the streets an similar. So you did in my opinion something difficult and then you did it photographically very satisfying. A slight clockwise rotation might satisfy us viewers. But htat's up to your decision. Greetings.

The subject is interesting and emotive. The viewer can hardly believe that she can sleep on those rugged rock steps. The impeccable focus lets us see all the nice detail of her dress and the hard character of the stone. The cropping is very effective but I do note that the vertical stone wall is not quite vertical.
