A recent shoot with Heather (OMP model #164075). I was testing my new lens (Nikkor 60mm /2.8) and I'm very pleased with it.

nice crop, pose, expression & color tones. perhaps the dof is a touch shallow as already mentioned, but not by much - the only thing else i would've liked to see focused is that strand of hair hanging over her shoulder. nicely done :)

a nice portrait. Her left eye seems a bit odd though. DOF is a bit too shallow, I think (check the difference in sharpness between the eybrows for instance).

Thanks Danny! She has a lazy eye making her left eye droop a little. You're right about the DOF, I need to work more with this lens.

Well, I sometimes find little flaws like that can make a girl extra sexy, so no worries there. In her case I'm pretty sure she's VERY cute in real life (and she is on this picture too anyway).

Good luck with the lens.
