Hy Alexander,
nice photo, but some things should be improved: 1) DOF is too short - that's her eyes and rest of her face is a little blured, withount the details, your face fits to DOF wery well 2) backround - i don't like it, because i can see two different parts, i will like it more if the backround will be uniform. However - i like this photo, because i can find here a lot of emotions here. regards, Krzysiek

Two out of two don't like the background, then there must be something about it... I actually had a more uniformed background but edited this one in with PS. Thank you for your critique

Hi Alexander
You have caught a very good expression, but I find a couple of problems with the shot. First it is too dark, a very simple adjustment of the levels in PS would sort this out. I tried it and it really bought out the expressions in thier faces. Second, the background is a little distracting with the line coming out of the guys head. I realise you may not have been able to control this, but its worth checking the background when taking portrait shots, even if they are candid ones. Third its a little on the soft side.

Actually the background is intended and I think it gives i a twist. I can see you are right about the color adjustments. thank you for taking time to write.
