Shot a wedding yesterday. I am not done going through all the photos I took, but so far this is one of my favorites.

the pose and composition are good; however, the background is not lit properly. This looks like the on camera flash of the Rebel was used. I would have tried to balance the flash to the ambient light, so that you would get more background detail. Many couples look for this.

A very nice capture of expression. The skin tones need adjusting a litle, but you have great detail in the wedding dress without it being washed out. Was this image shot at 1/60th?? I feel if you opened up a stop you would brighten the background so it's not so dark - which is a common problem with flash photography at weddings - especially at receptions. This is a very nice photo and Im sure they will love it regardless of the background. haha - Troy

first of all blessings to the lovely couple from holy monk. may they remain happy for the rest of their life.next time when you are taking a shot like this go really low , try to take the shot sitting down. it seems you have reduced their heights a little. they could have looked much taller if your camera angle was a little low.

I would take a little red out of the groom's face and, perhaps, lighten the whole shot until you can just see some shape in the groom's black tux. Now it is only a flat black lump except for the lapel. The expressions are great, relaxed and beaming. You can afford to lighten the shot to match the mood. And, perhaps a comment or two about the camera settings and lighting would be nice.
