I like it. Good exposure and detail. It captures the moment. If I have to find something to improve it would be to get rid of the white in the background between the singer and the mic support. I feel it is a bit distracting. Purhaps capture the image such that there is more of the top of his head and less of the background light, or just darken the distracting areas. Thank you for the post.

Good catch. You caught your subject at just the right moment. It's clear you're conveying the performer's passion and energy. Your choosing black and white to do so is appropriate. The tight cropping is also nicely done. It excludes distracting detail and focuses the viewer on only the important elements. The actual focus, the face, the microphone is perfect with other elements going on-so-softly out of focus is very nice. This would be a great publicity shot. dave
