i think this is a great shot. i would personally be interested in some technical data. i love b&w pics and i love crisp focus. this is worthy of hanging on the wall. excellent work.

Nice - just a little too much negative space for me - maybe half a stop less exposure would add to the moodiness of the image - and what did you do to her hair ??

Usually I take a look to the photographer's portfolio before writing a critic or a comment. Your portfolio show me that you follow your own way of portrait and I really appreciate that because for me means that the results are not casual. This image is really good. probably one of the best of your gallery. Perfect lighting and intense expression af the model without using too much make up. technically flaless good details in the shadowe as in the brighter part of model's face. Really a tastefull image.

Janne, thought that this was a nice shot. Liked the details and the play of light and shadow. Personally thought the the shadow should have evenly split her face. Liked the details on the eyes, they reach out to the viewer. Would get rid of whatever is under the chin on the left side, a minor distraction. Overall a very nice shot.
