Hello Rich. Nice work! The soft pastels are gorgeous and the composition looks very good to me. You got on focus the branch and the lower feathers but you missed for a little bit the head of your bird, that's why the thumb down. But overall I think it's a beautiful picture, looks like a japanese painting.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Rich, Nice capture. Good dof. Colors seem a little off. Seems a little soft in the head, eye doesn't really stand right out. But my biggest nit picking is whatever is in the background on the right side. Two bright and distracts. That is the first thing my eyes go to. Thanks Kay

Nice photo. The breast still looks soft to me. I'd like to see what it looks like without the noise reduction. Ed

Mr. Bluebird is very nice - and a rare capture. To be "perfect" - clone the branch out from just before his beak. Love the soft bokeh, also!

Perfect. I have found bluebirds particularly difficult to capture (perhaps it has to do with relative scarcity). Very sharp, nicely composed, colors vibrant, background nicely blurred. About as close to a "studio" shot as a wild bird will give.
