I did a little lens blur (new to Photoshop CS) to further bring out the baby. What do you think of it? I tried the best I could to preserve better sharpness...But the download to photosig killed it:( I hope the picture is still good. I wanted to capture the aparent deep toughs of the baby.I value your opinion and will return the favor by critiquing your work. Thanks for looking.

What a cute baby!! You did well with the catch lights. I am not so sure about the blurred mother in the background. Perhaps it is just me, but she looks like some kind of predator. I know I know, it is not the case, but she does have something not cool.... Anyways, my two cents worth. Nice job! Amer

Very beautiful Rafic. this is a nice capture. The kid shows alot of character and expression in this picture. Hard to believ a yound child like this has this much expressive face.

it is just like my newly born daughter. She already has a mind of her own and does alot of expressive faces.

You can easily get that sharpness back after downsizing by a little pass of USM at a really small radius (like 0.3).

That aside, I really love the expressions here! The lens blur worked well, except for the blur on the baby's arm as it lies against the face, it seems to join with her face there. I might increase the contrast just a bit to get some true blacks, but it is lovely like this as well.

Expressions make this shot.

Interesting child's face expression. Nice tonality, maybe a bit soft eyes. Composition is so-so.
