Not bad at all, for a first time. Your model is beautiful; she looks like Jane Kennedy! Any relation perhaps? I agree with the previous critiques. I would like to see more of this model. Keep shooting and sharing!

hi ya, not bad for your first attempt at studio portraits, i find the skin tones very warm and i agree the use of a reflector would have edded to the picture by softening the shadows on her face, im not convinced by the models expression, there also seems to be alot of noise in the picture, not sure if it is camera fault or if the exposure was wrong? keep shooting regards Tim

Hi Johan,
I don't think the lighting is so bad at all, hair highlight is also good... the main problem I think, the lighting is just too sharp.

the skin tones look a little odd and uneven. this was mostly likely caused form the lighitng. i think a bulb behind the model to help form her hair from the background would help, and maybe using reflected light to smooth out the tones. thanks for posting.
