Is that a star filter you are using here or is that your shutter causing the star effect? I think the shot would have better impact without the effect. There is already a lot of good visual things happening here. The star effect puts it over the the top in my opinion. Also some of the left side of the image could be cropped. It is not really doing anything to further the potential of the image. Good work. I like it.

Thanks for your feedback. I am not using any filter. Infact, I did it without a tripod, but used a side-ways sign-board to rest my camera, hence not much control over framing. Yes the cropping would therefore help. Let me try again, if I get the calm pond again.
