This is one of my first shoot with D100. I had no tripod and no flash

I really like the composition of this pic. I think the lighting and focus could both be better. It seems generally people don't like this soft focus look, I don't mind it but perhpas this is a bit too soft. I just love flower photographs, even this one is very beautiful despite some shortcomings, keep shooting it can only get better ( well it could bet worse, but it is a nice thing to say... :}. Perry

Beautiful color. I think using 200mm lens without a tripod would be difficult to control the focus. However this one turns out be like a soft-focused image. A different feeling. Another thing is the angle you chose here just facing the part of the flower blossom that had some wound on it, thus degradading the image a bit.

I think with your superior equipments you'll produce nice pictures down the road.
