Simply a perfect shot! Nothing could make this peice reach further perfection! The color is amazing! Its crisp and clean,a nd i adore the blackness engulfing the beauty of the flower itself! I am inl ove with this shot! Well done! Thanks so very much for sharing, I hope to see more ofy our works! This peice has such great detail on the petals! PERFECTION!!!

Excellent almost macro image, sharp, good lighting and composition. I'm curious as to where the flash was postioned, as I don't see any shadows. I've taken many flower images, often using only window light, but it limits my exposure settings. I particularly like the black background which sets off the colors of the flower. If you wish, take a look at my flower images here, some of which are macros.

Thanks! I actually used two flashes, positioned on each side of the camera and bounced the light off of a white ceiling. I will definitely take a look at your photos.
