Taken on honeymoon in Mauritius in 2002. Just love the simplicity and colour.

Hi Richard, you continued so fast!!!it is good ; your activity. the shot is so abstract because of your good angle & composition, taking shot from the angle against the light is some times helpful to enhance abstract feeling of the subjects, good vision and creative done./ kiarang.

I think this is a great shot, good detail on the fan, and the shadow really adds to the abstractness of the overall composition. It provides such a cool pattern. Thanks for showing this!

This image could be improved if the shadow on the left was not as pronounced, maybe at another part of the day. I love the angle of view and the details in the palms. Nice work!

Nicely done Richard. I can relate to this as I took a very similar shot while on vacation in Hawaii. I haven't posted it as of yet, as I took close to 1400 photos during my 10 day trip and feel a little overwhelmed! :)

I agree that the shadow is a little distracting, but it doesn't bother me that much. The colors come through nicely with the backlighting. Maybe if the depth-of-field was just a little deeper, it wouldn't have a few soft spots in it. Good job!

Nice colour and lines. The shadow on the left drags the image down though. Maybe if you just chopped the image in half...
