an eye catcher shot. yes there is a bit of overexposure on the nose but its direct sunlight and it is hard to change that fact. if u had the nose well exposed than you'd have some underexposed parts on the left. so it is a tough decision i guess. u got great dof and a good crop, well done

i nearly echo the previous crit except for what bothers me most in this is the tuft of feathers below the beak which to me are tad bit too bright. quite a nice photo and nearly great.

Thank you Lawrence! The lighting conditions were not easily controlled... :-) I probably should have used flash for fill in, but I think it could have been an "overkill" for this snapshot... Best regards, Laci

Gorgeous picture, but there are some distractions, like the blown (overexposed) nose. I trust you shot RAW so maybe you could fix it with the RAW processor.

Hashp thank you for your comment... Yes I have the raw file and there I have details even on the nose... During the downscaling process the details were gone... :-(

If you use the new Photoshop Camera Raw this can be adjusted easily. Also can be done in PhaseOne C1 Pro.
