Nice capture. Tons of detail, and good color and contrast. Funny that you would spend MORE on the lens than the camera cost LOL.. but hey, you only live once. ;-)

camera bodies come & go, lenses stay and fit to next body. Lenses are more of an investment....One day hope to be able to get a 1D-S or 1D-II

Very nice shot. Like the look of interested but still relaxed. Good composition and color saturation. Especially like the depth of field so that your subject is clear and the background is not distracting. Nice accent with the yellow flowers. The foreground is a little blurry, probably movement in the grass. But very nice job overall.

The shot or the lens? :)

The colors are unbelievable as is the sharpness. The pose is also very nice. The only minor problems are on style: I don't think the grass is quite as green where this guy is supposed to live and the urban hints in the background don't fit either. Let's say 2.5 and rounded up. ;-)
