I just love the way you put the focal plane going into the photograph giving sharpness to his face (perhaps not optimal since his belly is sharper than the face) but also to some of those breaking waves and leaving other parts totally out. Good use of LF movements anyway!!! Beutifull and original IMHO. Did you use a red filter, the guy looks quite pale as if that was the case, but it definately works.
Cheers
Richard

Very courageous framing! I like the soft corners & vignetting, it really adds to the feel. An inspiring picture, great eye

Very good portrait. I love the composition.
Very effective use of the rear-tilt(?) to accentuate the face also.

mi piace davvero molto il taglio inusuale della foto, e inoltre tutte le sfumature di grigio. complimenti! però l'immagine in primo piano è troppo fuori fuoco. mi rendo conto che è volontario, ma vorrei che fosse più nitida.

very, very earie. i love the way it fades from dark to light from one side to the other. soft focus works very well and the are some very nice tones there. very unusual and groovy.
