Wonderful! It looks so simple: some small bird silhouette, the moon and a gradient sky. It is a very calm photo. I would put it on my wall.

I can't really say anything that the other people didn't say already; this is an exceptional photo. How in the world did you manage to set up the exposure so that the details in the moon are so sharp, and yet the birds aren't motion-blurred ?

Hi Joerg, Just to give you some extra credit points for this excellent shot. I like it very much. I usually prefer sky shots with the horizon on, to give some idea of the scale. Here with the band of clouds in front of the moon you have a sort of virtual horizon. I like the gradient of soft blue to red in the sky also. Regards, Huub - Birds by me: Speaking Swedish?.

Magnificent! I like the pastel colors of sunset time. the birds are positioned perfect in the frame. The exposure is just the best - you can see all the details in the moon!

Yeah, I could dream dreams like that. The half veiled moon looks intriguing, like a bellydancer. However, I wonder if it could be more dreamlike if the bluish tones were cropped away from the top of the pic. There seem to be more than enough room there. In overall, it is classic, the stuff the dreams are made of! Glad you were there with the camera.

Really good shot Joerg. Excellent composition and beautiful colours. The birds are almost perfectly spaced for you. Certainly was a World of Dreams... Well done. Rob.
