Hi Dan, don't I speak igles and am I using a webtranslator, ok?
A beautiful photo, the colors, the framing, the musician's position. I believe that if it could use a telephoto lens you would have shorter DOF, isolating the second plan.
Great shot! Congratulations.
Take the look attn my concert photos if you get the chance, thanks...

Nice photo! I like the framing vertically (maybe a little less lighting racks up top), but agree a little more face in the shot would help make it more personal. The picture captures the energy, but could have been made even more intrguing with a good look facially. I always find faces on musicians draw you into the photo like a good book draws you into the story.
The coloring seems to have a nice magenta coating over the the picture.
Great pose, I'm sure it must've been trouble to freeze this subject. I always find band performance photo's to be the hardest. There's only so much you can do when you are not in control of the lighting. Good photo!

Hi Memphis, I actually did try cropping our some of the lighting and painting it in black. However with less lights it no longer looked like a big stage. Thanks..

This is a great shot and a good testament to the 50/1.8 lens, you read articles on the net stating that everyone needs this one lense because of the utility and the cost and in this case, it did a great job. The person is nearly frozen except for maybe the neck of the guitar and the color is outstanding, as is the contrast. You should be proud of this shot and everyone take note of the lens used.

It is a great lens, I've thought about picking up the 1.4 for even lower light shots. At 1/60th with the amount of movement on stage it was tricky to freeze the subject. I shot multiple burst shots to try and stop the action.

Wow, really sharp photo. Greg Made must be a rock god! Great positioning for lights, drums, stage, etc. The angle makes him look taller.
I know it's tough when band guys are jumping all around, but I kind of wanted to see him face front a little more in the picture.
I might have edited out his rolled up pants too. (j/k great photo)
