I think this is an excellent shot that could be improved a bit by: (1) not cutting off the lights and the building at the left side of the frame, and (2) changing the angle a bit so the shot's not quite so "head-on". Very sharp with excellent color!!

find super made to Hello Jaewook, one night admission of the parliament in
Ottawa. The sharpness became excellent and the colors arrives clear and
clear on the picture. It arouses memories in us awake, because we were also
in the vacation in Ottawa and have this city dear gewonnnen. Before the
parliament we were allowed to experience the awake separation on one weekend
and were very inspired of it. Excuse my bad English, best regards Manfred,
please, visit my last work

It's maybe cropped a little tight but I really like the way it's lit and the way it stands out against the sky.

Nicely done... good focus, color and contrast for a night photo. It's cropped too tight on the left but still...
Too bad the flag is blurred... oh wait... it's that maple leaf thingy... ok, blurred is appropriate ;)

Great photo! I live in Ottawa and find these buildings difficult to photograph, especially the center one as it is so large and tall. I think this angle and building work very well together and the lighting is terrific. I guess you got this before the big power outage! I'm also amazed at your timing because to me it seems like no matter what the time of day, there are always people in the way. Good job.

Thank you so much. :) In fact, I took this picture on Aug 16, the day when the city got some power back. I wanted to take some pictures at "sound & light show" in front of the parliament hill, but the show was canceled because the city didn't have enough power. :(
I took this picture around midnight. that's why there are no people in my picture. I know i should take picture when the sky is not completely dark, but unfortunately I ran out of memory at 9:00am. I headed back to hotel to download pictures to my laptop and got back at 11:30pm. Ahhh...the sky was completely dark. :( I'll go to Ottawa next summer to take this beautiful building again...
