Hello Sophia:)! First I'd like welcome You between photosigers and I hope that watching the photos, reading crits and learning from other users You'll start to make better photos:)! First I can suggest You is to read user's manual of Your camera, it has many possibilities to take very good and creative photos:)! Second - in internet and many books You can find many basic and simple informations about light, composition, shutter speed, f-stop as well as about optic. It's really necessary in photography:)! And about this photo... object and its placement show that You have quite interesting ideas. But believe me - this camera could "works" better inf the frame in more diagonal position, when lines and shapes will be very scarp. You used wide angle of lens and close distance from object so You reached strong deformations of object. Better way is to take photo using zoom from standing position. Light on the right top quarter of lens is too strong, rings are overlighted - exposure should be measured on brighter parts of object. I wrote especially in this "mysterious" form cause I hope I'll motivate You to looking for more infos about taking photos:)! Rgds, Artur
