This is what is referred to as trying to make lemonade when you get a lemon. Sorry, but I just don't feel the experiment panned out. It looks and appears for all intents and purposes that the backlight caught the edge of the lens and flared out the wazoo. The red streak along the left edge is the tip off that this wasn't a planned thing. The circles are the internal reflections bouncing back and forth. The edge of her head is what kills this one. If it was less pronounced, I might accept it, but it's too far overboard. For what it's worth, some of the PSE versions do have the lens flare filter and you can choose the intensity and placement. I'd check to see if your editer has that filter available and try using it in a controlled manner.
