As a "grandfather" to three wonderful Boxer dogs (which I think this fellow is), I have to like this image. Of course, the thumbs are for the photographic quality, not the breed. This image depicts the exceptionally moody and projecting personality of these dogs. It is all about the eyes, and in this case although initially not positively inclined, I do believe the presention of catchlight and any light on the single eye does reflect the overall emotion of this composition. Negative observation: the large white frame, in my opinion, is unnecessary and could be made smaller or eliminated. Overall, well done!
