I do not think we have done much with live guitar performance photography since Hendrix. So this is for me just more of the same trying to. You have no control over lighting, perhaps no control over shooting angle. The camera is more or less automatic. So what is left. Timing and focus. I am sure his right shoulder and his crouch is great, but seems to me his left hand is where the action is. The guy is even looking at the left hand. So you decide if you did a good job. ;o)-max-
