I'm new to photography but have you thought about using a red filter? It's my understanding that it makes black and white pop out more, especially when photographing the sky. If you have Photoshop you can actually add the filter in the program. I think I would crop the top of the photo out. I would crop right to the first or second branch. I feel like the top of the photo is distracting. The branches on the bottom of the photo look like rain. It's a pretty effect and that's where your photo is. I might also try this photo again allowing more of the stream in your photo instead of the sky.
