I know exactly what you mean, my son is now 9 weeks old and its just amazing. I'm also guessing he is as used to a camera as yours is.
Back to your photo, I like it, I like the grain, the black bacground, the light and simplicity but I find it odd that the tray is floating over the scale. Perhaps you could show the pillar connecting them?
Anyway, congratulations on the little fella, getting any sleep yet...if you have a few minutes here's a photo of my boy at 4 weeks Thomas
