I love the colors & the unusual skyline created by the clouds. The reflected colors on the water also add to the overall image. Thanks for posting!

Alex, it's a good capture and nice B&W toning. I would have asked to remove the straps while shooting and also would make the background smoother. Just my 2 cents. Regards!

Torn between calling it a pictorial "disaster" and a brave attempt at creativity.
What saves this picture is the horse's eye which immediately draws attention away from the garishness of the rest of the picture.
Cheers, Rick.

This is not a negative one photo but again it's not a plus three either. I'm surprised it is as shape as it is since your shutter speed is 1/15 with walking people in the foreground. I'm assuming this is hand held. Your framing is well centered though more foreground would improve it IMO.

Lovely, Michael. The backdrop to the gull makes this picture very attractive to look at.
The gull is not too sharp but it does show a sense of hovering motion.
Good capture. Cheers, Rick.

Very good contrast, Michael. Sharpness and clarity also nice. Background very nice blur. I do like so much the black on the wings look so lovely. Good job and thanks for sharing! Regard

A little too much oversaturated.. gives me the feeling of an old postcard wich has been exposed to sunrays far too long.. if this is intended... well done!

This has a interesting mood about it. The choice of black and white works well. I like that the road and the horizon lead into the empty space.

this is one of the better aurora shots I have seen so far! The colors are even more impressive once opened with color managed software! It's sad though that there was such a huge cloud in the sky that night, I wish it wasn't there... I'd tend to crop a little bit from the top, but you'll loose a little bit of the sensation of vastness. There seems to be some green purple color artifacts in the cloud which might certainly be the aurora shining through the cloud, but to me...

nice photo, a little twilight zoneish and spooky in a good way... that blurry sign is doing damage and if only contrast levels were a bit higher..

Nice choice of the moment, but the angle from below gives a strong perspective that make her legs look bigger than the torso.. also hair is a bit compressed on her head.. to bad because her position is good and i love the implied nudity.
better catch would be from a stand and when she is going down...

This is a powerful pose, and a novel color scheme. I find that the crop does not help the power of the pose at all - cutting her off at the knee takes away her grounding on the forward posed leg. I don't see to many solutions though, if you included the leg, her head would be pretty high in the frame.
All the technical aspects appear to be spot on.

I love how the moss has covered that lava field, it gives a very soft texture that is covering the rough lava rocks. Your shot gives a good feeling of the vastness of this lava field, this is dragging me back to my trip to Iceland 4 years ago! The soft pastel tones which aren't oversaturated fit well your subject. Impressive DOF! Cheers, Jan
