A very sharp catch of the flying pelican Timothy, but I think there is a little heavy handed on sharpening evident from the halo around the bird. Nice to see the flying bird together with the reflection and they are both well frozen. Lighitng is not totally at your side I am afraid, little hot on the white neck whilst harsh shadow appears at the bottom side of the bird.
Cheers......Edwin

I like this photo What it lacks it sharpness it makes up for in personality. A nice portrait of a funny looking catterpilar.

a nice abstract picture that makes you think. What am I looking at? For me the dark right side of the picture would be beter if it were more black

Very nice photo. Good DOF. At firt I felt it was tilted as well, but actually it is perfectly leveled. Good job. I would leave top 1/3 sky out to break the symmetry. Thanks for sharing.

Hi James, except for a slight (barely visible) over-sharpening hallows, I don't have anything to crib about. Like the contrast of the curved surfaces with straight lines. Interesting to see strong discontinuos gradation in tones along with a gradient. Well composed. I feel there is much more to compose and play around with here. Regards, Jayavel.

Beautiful background complimenting the sharp gull, this is a well seen gull in flight shot Michael. Technically there is nothing I could pick but wish the gull could fly closer to your camera for a tighter composition, good luck on your next venture.
Cheers......Edwin

Eric, can you get a bit higher, and a bit more to the right, this is a great water structure, I like the way there is a corner in the dam, very strange, the exposure is perfect, remember you can always make a layer and color adjust the water. good study area.

Nice work on this shot Michael, the light sepia tones are well managed and sharpness is done well. Not 100% sure of your composition in portrait format but the dark corner at top right disturbs to me a little. The building looks good in straight but the bridge is tilting, that means you are not at the best position on shooting, that is the situation what photographers are always facing.
Cheers......Edwin

Good abstract you've got here. I'd suggest "cleaning" the light in the window on the left and even try getting rid of some textures for stronger effect. Just a thought. Regards, Alga

It has a nice feel to it, I like the overall affect, IMHO I would try to lighten the lava flow further back in the shot, Well done.

Nice shot, I like the tones and the composition, it appears to be not quite level, otherwise a lovely shot.

Hello Michael.Wonderful view. I love the monochromatic conversion you have done. In my opinion the use of the space at the foreground is perfect and attractive. My only concern is the strong bright area at the upper left corner. You may want to tone down that sky area because it really draws attention away.Best - Andres.
