A beautiful flowery scenery, good exposure for the colors and sharpness. The photo has a nice depth and a fine composition.

It is definitely vibrant and would most likely appeal to kids, personally I am not a big fan of the garish colors and the lightning bolts, it looks a little cheesy to me. But like I said, kids would probably love it.

Photographically this is a very nice shot Melanie, it would be nicer if you may increase a little more contrast on the coulds to give it some dramatic effect. I also wonder if you might take some shots next to this and stitch them for a panoramic photo. What I can suggest on editing this photo is the slight crooked and tilted horizon that it better be fixed. Cheers..........Edwin

Hi Mike. The sand and the rock formation on the left are great, but I can't get past the blown out sky. It is simply too eye catching and really doesn't allow you to really see anything but bright sky. I don't think there is anything you can do to tone down the highlight when it is blown, and the middle of the shot is completely blown. If you are going to go do it again, I would also recommend looking through the whole scene before shooting. The red stuff on the very right...

This looks like something from the jewellerstore, I like that the photographer used his playfulness to manage to create this photo that glitters like gold to me.

Patrick, we have 3 elements here & none of them quite connect. First of all there is the huddle (group) of people but I can't see what they're doing or why they are there. It seems safe to say that they are irrelevant to the photo, a distraction of bodies. Then there is the bloke with the beard & he's the most interesting character here but what is he doing. There is apparently some connection between him & the fat bloke on the left. Or is that look by the bearded one...

This photo cannot be improved. I looked at your collection of cloud pictures and was very impressed, but this one is special in the way it combines the ominous storm with the soothing, bland terrain that passively accepts whatever the atmosphere produces - and the sharp edge of the horizon with the shadings of gray aloft. Technically perfect, aesthetically delightful.

Adorable baby . My critique is that this pose has been done so many times that it's gotten to where it's not unique or really interesting. It does need to be cleaned up

Quite nice color and composition. Also good timing to catch the color in the sky. However I think the overall quality, sharpness or detail is very poor. There is nothing that is in sharp focus and really for an image like this, everything should be sharp. Your camera should do much better then presented here. You may go back to the original and get better detail by posting a larger image and a larger file. The posted image is smaller then allowed and the file...

The technique, for me, is harsh and coarse. What remains is difficult to look at it and absent of beauty. Perhaps that's the intent, but brute force without subtlety offers no relief. From this perspective, it succeeds in presenting the torment of depression, but it will not hang on a wall. Pain is too easily imagined.

Interesting concept and you have executed it nicely, love the stark b/w. I would just like to see a different subject, the birds just look rather awkward and doesn't really do it for me.

You turn away from bold colors and contrasts to mute and blend to the color and mood of the ocean on a hazy morning. A compelling approach. I wrestle with the intensity of the corner light, but the photo will make a wonderful print.
