I like this one, but would like to have seen you walk back 300-500 paces (if possible) so the tree is a bit smaller. The lights are the centerpiece, and the purpose of the tree is to keep the picture from being too boring. I'd have liked to see the tree go up 30-40% of the height of the picture as opposed to 60-70. Alternately, walk around a bit so the picture can be composed with the tree on the right and the sun (or whatever that flare is) on the center-left... or...

I like the idea too. Yes the fingers bung it up.. and I LIKE the fact that kermit is outta focus 'cause it looks like he actually just 'jummped' in the pic as the shutter was being pressed. Black and white is cool 'cause everything gets the same attention but 'cause kermit is in the forground you see him first... not to mention he doesn't belong there *L*

*L* I really have no comment on this image but I laughed when I saw it so I thought I'd throw in a comment. I love it 'cause it looks like kermit is either crying or yelling for help *L* Would have been nice to get his hands positioned funny too. *L* great.

Perhaps it's because I'm gay, but this picture doesn't do it for me. (Actually I'd say the opposite - I think the other guys gave you an extra +1 thumb 'cuz of the women's butt.) The sloped horizon needs to be pixed, and as Willis noted the beach is too crowded. The idea behind the picture is a good one, but you should have had the person pose for a specific shot to really show off their butt. As it is this looks like one of those pictures that makes you wonder, "why...

Very creepy...if there were more trees around.. it would've made it surprisingly creepy..

This is a nice shot..If the sun had set a bit more.. the colors would be more dramatic .. and if it wasn't a bit out of focus.. it would've granted more than 1 thumbs up..

I like this one a lot. I wish you could have sat down and waited for 30 minutes for the moon to rise a bit higher above the building. (Or alternately, I wish you had arrived 30 minutes earlier before the moon sunk so far). And a bit more of the overhang going across the top might have been nice. Left to right, that is. You don't need it to be any "deeper" from top to bottom. I also wish the secondary building and the bottom of the primary building could have had a...

I think this is a great picture, but have a few suggestions. For starters I'd brighten up the right of the picture slightly. It goes a bit too dark into shadow. Second I'd like to have seen a little more window on the left. To give more of a feeling of looking out into the yard. Finally, I'd like to have seen the camera slightly over to the left so that a bit more of his face is showing, especially his left eye. The feeling here is of a child looking at the world...

Finally, a fashion photo! These landscape and commercial photos are okay, but what I really like are beautiful babes wearing hip threads. However I'm not too sure whether this is a real fashion photo or a photo that just looks like a fashion photo. The make-up is great, and model's hair is well done, and does appear stylish. But why is she jumping up in the air? It has a good effect on her hair, but it's also made her belt and earring go flying. I'd keep your models...

I dunno how many years back you mean, but the aging process has given it a lot of character. It doesn't look so creepy to me, but rather antique and sad. I even think the scratches on the film add to the scratches and bruises on the building. And the way that it fades off into the misty murky background draws your eye right into the fading piece of history. (that sounds a lot cheesier than I mean, but whatever).

Gorgeous. Basically just a two part composition of color and texture, but everywhere you look is some interesting little detail to think about, the distant mountain peak, the little barn (which is probably actually quite large, the little breaks in the clouds, the strangely criscrossing shadows in the foreground, and so on. Really evocotive.

Pretty day, pretty place, pretty photo. I guess that's seaweed under the surface of the water there in between the lilypads and the reflections of the clouds. Dunno why I'm commenting on that, except for some reason that's the part of the picture that registers, which I'm guessing is not the part of the picture I'm supposed to be thinking about. Weird, why should this picture just strike me as "nice" while the two by Carlo Borella are really grabbing? Sorry, Earl,...

Doug, I'd rather give you two thumbs for this picture and compare it to the other one, than one thumb for the other and compare it to this... so I will. Here the highlights aren't blown out, the rocks show more detail, the sky shows some gradient of shades, the frame is a little better balanced, and the foreground here is really neat with the reds and blues in the water and the little patch of river that shines out of the deep shadows in the middle band and the...

Super cool. Great moment in a great scene captured well. I would try cropping a smidgen off the top and bottom, give it a little panoramic feel and eliminate some of the empty black. Could try dodging the whole thing a hair, the ground seems a lil purple, and maybe try dodging the town a lil more than that, but you might prefer this way, and I couldn't blame you. Nice.

I like this pic. The light that someone has shined on it (probably due to upcomming christmas) was a good idea *S* The only thing I would change is that house roof in it. Unfortunatly it was probably impossible to do. It looks like you tried but would have cut off where the branches converge with the trunk.
