Calling all ghouls, goblins, ghosts, for photoSIG's Halloween photo contest!
Entries can be made in the Halloween 2010 Category starting tomorrow October 24 and ending at 11:59 PM EST Monday November 1st. Two prizes (Premium memberships) will be awarded, one for People's Choice based on the highest rated photoSIG points in the category, the second will be Judge's Choice from 3 photoSIG member judges. Attention critics - critiques on these contest entries must be real critiques. Three thumbs up with some fluff will be removed. This will be a popularity contest of the photo, not the photographer, so there will be no stuffing the ballot box by giving out lots of fluffy thumbs up this week! So be forewarned, if people are writing fluffy critiques on the entries, they will be removed. If you think the photo deserves 3TU you need to tell us why! The Judge's Choice award will be for the most creative photograph. (I'm looking for three volunteers for the Judge's Choice award, if you're interested please email me.) Please only submit photos that you have taken this week coming. Photos taken previously will be disqualified. Fine print rules: Only one entry per person please. We're not going for quantity, we're going for quality! Composites are allowed but all source material must be your own original photographs, and the sole subject must not be photographs of someone else's artistic creation. Photos that do not comply with this will be disqualified. All judges decisions are final. The photos displayed on the first pages of this section are the newest photos that have been submitted.
