Submit a new photo

This assignment is based on a suggestion from tomas/Tomas. Chairs can be found in all sorts of places - at home, in a car (car seats), at school or work, in a restaurant. Empty chairs tell a story different than chairs with people in them. Chairs can be arranged into abstract patterns. If we define chairs as manmade objects designed for people to sit, we have quite a range of possibilities. But some things we might sit on don't qualify, such as rocks (not manmade), tabletops (not designed for sitting), cat trees (not designed for people), etc.

So make a photo that includes at least one empty chair, and no chairs with people sitting in them. You may have people in the photo, but not sitting in chairs.

To qualify for this month's assignment,
the photo must include at least one empty chair, and
your photographer's comment must contain the words "February Assignment";
if your photo includes people, they must not be sitting in chairs

If you have a story to go with the photo that you want to share with us, put it in your photographer's comment or a comment below the critiques.

If you have any questions, email an admin. If your photo is deemed to not meet our assignment criteria and hence removed, please accept our decision graciously. Our decisions are not subjects for debate, so if you are not sure, ask first. To enter your photo into the assignment, just check off the box that says 2008 02 ~ Empty chairs.
