Sheena...WOW...thanks kindly. It really was thoughtful of you to post this. I am humbled. Interesting that you should, in fact, post this as over the last two days I have been feeling somewhat discouraged by the lack of critiques on some of my own photos. But I also realize that I have zero control over that.....Through the act of taking the time to pen a relevant critique I find that I have become much more discerning of my own photo's faults. Like many photographers I struggle with the emotional attachment to and blind support of my own work...(especially pictures of my granddaughter...many hundreds of those ....and counting). So creating useful critiques has certainly benefitted me. An added bonus is that by drafting critiques carefully (most of the time anyway) my writing has improved. See everything is connected....again thank you for the gracious acknowledgement. And thanks for the site. Blessings....

(not only for this week, as in general )i also like ,Cathy as one of great critics besides Lorne and John...i value their thoughts and high level critique language they have...
